Making disciples who celebrate, connect, and contribute together for the glory of God... Those words define why Pontiac Bible Church exists.  Every one of us has experienced the love and transforming power of Jesus Christ in our own lives.  And every one of us desires to share that love and freedom with others.

After he rose from the dead, Jesus gave these instructions to His followers:

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:19-20).

We believe a disciple is someone who has devoted their whole life to Jesus Christ, continuously growing more like Jesus as they celebrate the faithfulness of God in worship, connect more deeply with Christ and the church, and contribute of their time, talents, and financial resources to advance the gospel locally, regionally, and globally.  All this happens most effectively in the context of a local church, as we celebrate, connect, and contribute together, not for our own gain, but for the glory of God.
