A diehard Yankees, Steelers, & Michigan Wolverines fan, I grew up in the heartland of Iowa. I attended college in Iowa, but received my master’s degree in Indiana. Julie and I met during our college days and we have been married over 27 years. I have led in various pastoral roles for over twenty years. I enjoy sports, music and reading. I also enjoy desserts with chocolaty foundations. We have three daughters. Erica is married to Tyler Nesbitt. Melissa is married to Josh DeRosa. Olivia is a freshman at Judson University majoring in graphic design & playing softball. We have two grandsons, Tripp & Beck. Simply, I am a sinner saved by grace; a nobody who knows Somebody and his name is Jesus.
At PBC I wear two main hats: worship arts and administration. I grew up in Missouri and have been involved in worship arts ministry since I was 12. I play saxophone, guitar and piano, and I sing. I have a Bachelor of Music Education from Culver-Stockton College, and a Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary. I'm married to Corinne, and we have four boys, Asher, Jack, Elliot, and Graham. We enjoy canoeing, fishing, hiking, and camping. I love jazz, blues, rock, and Americana music, and roasting raw coffee beans to brew the best coffee in town. Someday, I hope to earn a PhD in Theology! Check out my blog: www.andyfuqua.com.
The most important things to know about me are the following: I follow Jesus, my wife and daughter are prettier than I am, and I used to be a lot better at golf than I am now. I also like sports, coffee, all Apple products, reading books with my daughter, and my cardigans. I have an undergraduate degree from Taylor University and a Master of Divinity degree from Moody Theological Seminary. My wife, Cassie, and I have one daughter, Naomi, and a son, Benaiah, expected to arrive in June 2017. We love students of all ages and simply want to see them enjoy life with Jesus as soon as possible.
