Alesha Kendrick

Alesha was born and raised in the great state of Texas. She moved to a log cabin on a mountain in Arkansas over ten years ago, thinking it would be the final move. The Lord had different plans, sending her and her family to live and serve near Buffalo, NY. She thought the next move would be back to the South. Again, the Lord had different plans. As a newly empty nester, Alesha found herself and her husband in central Illinois.

Alesha met her husband, Derek, during their middle school days, and they have been married more than 25 years. Alesha and Derek have a son, Mason, a daughter, Brittani, a son-in-covenant, Matthew, and two granddaughters, Annabelle Grace and Adalynn Joy. Alesha and Derek love being Nana and Gramps, maybe even a little more than being Momma and Dad…just maybe.

Over the last 17 years, Alesha has served in a variety of ministries, including; Women’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Pregnancy Help Centers, and Christian Home Education Groups. She has a passion for helping women to draw near to Jesus, and to see Christ at the center of marriages.

Alesha enjoys baking cupcakes, gardening, thrift shopping, her chickens, anything that involves working with her hands, and spending time with her two grandchildren. She can’t wait to share Jesus with her girls and she wants to leverage everything for His glory.
