2026 Prayer Walk
Join us for a meaningful morning as we walk and pray for our city together. This is a simple, family-friendly event where we’ll move through our community, asking God to bless the people, homes, schools, and businesses of Pontiac.
We’ll begin at the High School and walk a planned route through town, ending at the Sheriff's Office. Along the way, we’ll pray quietly or in small groups—no pressure, just a chance to be present and intentional.
This isn’t a race, but it’s an opportunity to care for both body and soul. The full route is about 3 miles (5K), with a 1-mile checkpoint for those who need a shorter walk. If walking isn’t an option, we also encourage joining by car and praying along the way.
Date: May 30
Time: 7:30–9:30 AM
Who: Open to all ages (feel free to bring your family! Strollers are encouraged for the little ones)
Whether you walk the whole route or part of it, we’d love for you to join us as we seek the good of our city and love our neighbors in a practical way.
"Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper." — Jeremiah 29:7

Join us in Pontiac and bring a friend.
Night of Worship - Recital
🎶 You’re Invited to Worship With Us!
Over the past weeks, our students have been learning, practicing, and growing through our Worship Music Classes — and now it’s time for something special.
This service will be a celebration moment, as many of our students help lead us in worship as the conclusion of the class! It’s more than music — it’s young (and some not so much!) worshipers stepping out in faith, using their gifts to serve the Lord.
Come encourage them, worship with us, and be part of a beautiful milestone in their journey. Your presence means a lot — to them and to us as a church family.
Let’s lift up the name of Jesus together

Marriage Conference: The Marriage of Your Dreams
Do you want to experience the marriage of your dreams? We’ll be watching pastor, marriage counselor and best-selling author Dr. Paul David Tripp teach us in his upcoming marriage event, The Marriage of Your Dreams. Paul Tripp has been married for nearly 50 years and will help you dream bigger, love better, and experience a deeper relationship with God and your spouse than ever before. Discover how to experience the marriage of your dreams–the one that God intended–by getting on the same page as the Bible!
In four brand-new sessions, we’ll cover
Disappointed Dreamers: No matter how long you have been married, Dr. Tripp will help to realign your expectations so you aren’t discouraged and disappointed by the reality of your relationship.
The Spouse Of Your Dreams: Learn how to treat your husband or wife with integrity and faithfulness so they fully entrust themselves to your care. As a bonus, you’ll receive Dr. Tripp’s trust questionnaire worksheet to work through with your spouse or fiancé.
What Dreams Are Made Of: After four decades of counseling marriages, Dr. Tripp knows why couples fail to experience the marriage of their dreams: they point the finger of blame and hold grudges. Instead, discover how to fight for your marriage by practicing confession and forgiveness each day.
All You Need Is (Cruciform) Love: There are many definitions of love out there, but you only need to follow one example: the Cross of Christ. As a bonus, you’ll receive Dr. Tripp’s worksheet, 24 Things That Love Is And Does, to remind you each day how to practically love your spouse like Jesus.
PBC @ Pontiac Helping Hands

Volunteer your time! If you’d like to serve, contact Teresa at 815-419-2696 to get plugged in.
We’d love to see as many of you as possible come out and participate. Whether you shop, donate, or volunteer, your involvement directly supports the mission and vision of PBC: bringing the transforming hope of Jesus to Livingston County and the world.
Let’s make the most of this opportunity together.
